Nun ist aber ein Urteil auf Grund dieser einen Messung bekanntlich durchaus nicht richtig. Denn ein Element kann z. B, 1,4 Volt, also die normale Spannung anzeigen; sobald aber der normale Strom aus dem Element entnommen wird, sinkt die Spannung sofort auf einen geringen Wert und ergibt somit die Erschöpfung des Elementes.
