Vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Düse für Wasserstrahlgebläse zum Ansaugen und Fortdrücken von Luft oder Gas und bezweckt, die Wirkung einer gewöhnlichen einfachen Strahldüse zu erhöhen. Erreicht wird dies durch einen Einsatz mit einer mittleren, glatten, sich verjüngenden Düse und mehreren um dieselbe herum angeordneten in steilen Schraubenlinien verlaufenden Kanälen, wodurch der Wasserstrahl in einem mittleren geraden und mehrere am Umfange desselben schräg angreifende Strahlen getheilt wird. Wie Versuche gezeigt haben, die unter 0,1 bis 2,0 Atm. Wasserdruck und entsprechend 0,01 bis 0,6 Atm. Druck der geförderten Luft angestellt wurden, übt ein derartiger Strahl eine viel gröfsere Saug- und Druckwirkung auf die zu fördernde Luft bezw. das Gas aus, als ein glatter Strahl. Die Abmessungen, insbesondere auch die der schraubenförmigen Kanäle müssen natürlich je nach dem Anfangs- und Enddruck von Luft bezw.
