Der Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung ist ein Fensterschutznetz, welches in bekannter Art zwischen zwei senkrechten Stäben und zwei an diesen befestigten wagrechten Gurten, Riemen oder dergl. ausgespannt wird, dessen eigenartige Befestigungsweise aber, abweichend von bekannten Einrichtungen, eine Verwendung bei Fensteröffnungen verschiedener Gröfse dadurch gestattet, dafs nicht nur die obere und die untere Kante von in ihrer Länge veränderlichen Gurten, Riemen, Stricken oder Ketten gehalten werden, was bisher schon bekannt war, sondern dafs auch der rechte und der linke Rand des Netzes an ihrer Länge nach veränderlichen Stäben befestigt sind. Diese Stäbe sind gleichzeitig — und darin besteht das Neue dieser Anordnung — zur Sicherheit gegen unbeabsichtigtes Abwerfen oder Aushängen des Netzes rohrförmig gestaltet, so dafs nicht sie unmittelbar, sondern ein, in dem Rohre verschiebbarer Stab an den für diesen Zweck zu benutzenden Fensterscharnieren am oberen Ende befestigt wird, während das untere Ende mittels besonderer Hakenklammern an das Fensterscharnier angeschlossen wird.
