Der Lampenuntertheil α trägt den Verschlufs. Auf diesen Untertheil wird der Obertheil d z. B. mittels Gewindes aufgeschraubt oder etwa mittels Bajonettverschlusses oder eines Verschlusses ähnlicher Art befestigt. Um nun ein Lösen dieser Befestigung zu verhindern, greift der Bolzen c des Verschlusses in ein Loch g eines am Lampenobertheil sitzenden seitlichen Auges. Dieses von unten in das Auge gebohrte Loch g geht nicht ganz durch, bildet vielmehr nur eine Vertiefung, so dafs also das obere Ende des Stiftes c weder sichtbar noch zugänglich ist. Man kann also durch irgend welche Mafsnahmen das Oeffnen des Verschlusses von oben her nicht bewirken. Da der Bolzen durch Federwirkung nach oben gedrängt wird und mit dem Boden des Lampentopfes abschneidet, kann er im Allgemeinen nur mittelst eines Magneten zurückgezogen werden.The lamp base α carries the shutter. Das obere Bolzenstück c besitzt an seinem unteren Ende einen Bund, mittelst dessen es sich unter dem Einflufs der Schraubenfeder s¹. von unten gegen die zum Abschlufs der Hülse b dienende Mutter h stützt. An den einander zugekehrten Enden der beiden Bolzenstücke besitzen letztere je eine axiale Anbohrung; in diesen Bohrungen steckt eine zweite Schraubenfeder s, welche schwächer ist als die Feder s¹. Infolge der gröfseren Kraft der Feder s¹ werden, so lange keine Einwirkung von aufsen erfolgt, die beiden Bunde der Bolzen c c¹ entgegen dem Druck der Feder s mit einander in Berührung gehalten. Die Feder s¹ hält dabei sämmtliche Theile in der in der Zeichnung angegebenen Stellung. Die zwischen den beiden Bolzentheilen sitzende Feder s braucht natürlich nicht in centralen Ausbohrungen zu sitzen; vielmehr sind auch andere Anordnungen möglich, z.
