Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von Verpackungsrollen für Blattmetall. Die bisher gebräuchlichen Verpackungsrollen werden in der Weise hergestellt, dafs auf eine aus Papier, Holz oder beliebig anderem Material bestehende Rolle, die eine Breite besitzt, welche der Breite des aufzuwickelnden Metallstreifens gleich ist, ein Streifen aus Papier oder dergl. spiralförmig aufgewunden wird, zwischen dessen Windungen das Blattmetall lose liegt oder an dem die Blattmetallstreifen befestigt sind. Die Befestigung geschieht dadurch, dafs der Blattmetallstreifen auf einer Seite entweder vollständig mit einem Klebemittel bedeckt ist oder nur an den Seitenrändern mit solchem Klebemittel, wie Wachs oder dergl., versehen ist. Diese Befestigungsart hat aber vor allem den Nachtheil, .dafs die Herstellung solcher Verpackungsrollen theuer wird, weil stets noch eine besondere Behandlung des Metallstreifens, das Auftragen des Klebemittels nöthig ist. Ferner kommt es leicht vor, dafs das Klebemittel den Blattmetallstreifen so fest am Papierstreifen hält, dafs er sich nur schwer ablösen kann und dabei unter Umständen zerreifst.The invention relates to a method for producing packaging rolls for sheet metal. Das Blattmetall b und der Papierstreifen α werden hierbei an den Rändern etwas nach innen gebogen, wie in Fig. 2 dargestellt ist. Wenn man das Anhaften des Metallbandes an der Innenseite d des gerollten Papierstreifens bewirken will, wie Fig. 2 zeigt, wird ein Pulver, z. B. Puder oder englische Erde, auf die Aufsenseite e des Papierstreifens α gestreut, um ein Anhaften des Blattmetalls an jener Seite zu verhindern.
