Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung ist eine Schutzvorrichtung für Strafsenbahnfahrzeuge, Omnibusse u. dergl. Fahrzeuge, welche gegenüber den bisher bekannten Vorrichtungen dieser Art den Vorzug erhöhter Betriebssicherheit hat. Dies ist im Wesentlichen dadurch erreicht, dafs an den Enden des Wagens und um die Räder herum Reihen einzelner, von einander unabhängiger, elastisch aufgehängter Stäbe angeordnet sind, welche verhindern, dafs zu Fall gekommene Personen unter den Wagen bezw. unter die Räder gerathen. Da die Stäbe an einem auf den Achsen aufruhenden Rahmen aufgehängt sind, so machen sie die Schwankungen des Wagenkastens nicht mit, können also im Allgemeinen dicht über dem Erdboden endigen; kleinere feste Hindernisse am Boden aber werden den oder die hindernden Stäbe emporheben, welche dann infolge der elastischen Aufhängung selbstthätig wieder in ihre tiefste Stellung zurückkehren.
