dar.Switching contact arrangement with low consumption when using alternating current
of precious metal contact consumables, e.g. B. silver, the metal goes when switching
mainly lost, which gets outside the contact area. The evaporating
or splashing metal that is deposited on the contact pieces
continues to be a full-fledged contact material and can be used for further switching
be fully recycled; it does not result in any loss of combustion material
represent.
To make this possible, the ratio of contact area to air gap would have to be
between the opening contact pieces, while the arc is acting, made very large
will.
In the usual practice up to now there are limits here. Because the shutdown
a certain power requires a large distance between the opening contact pieces,
so the burn-up area would have to be relatively large, which is already economical
Reasons is not possible.
A b b. I den Einschaltzustand, A b b.
According to the invention, a switching contact arrangement has been created in which only a small air gap is required between the opening contact pieces and thus the favorable large ratio between the contact area and the air gap between the opening contact pieces is achieved with the usual contact area. The switching contact arrangement with a stationary and movable contact piece divided into two partial contact pieces, the first partial contact piece of which leads the second contact piece when the contact is interrupted, is characterized according to the invention in that the first movable partial contact piece is connected directly to the discharge line via a connecting line, while the second movable partial contact piece is connected to this lead via a diode. When switching on, the part of the circuit between the supply line and the discharge line in which the diode is located is closed first, and then the part of the circuit in which there is no diode. When switching off, the sequence is reversed. It is advantageous here that the ohmic resistance of the partial contact circuit in which the diode is located is greater than that of the partial contact circuit with the connecting line. The drawing shows the innovation. A b b. I the switch-on state, A b b. II the lifting of the contact half, which is connected to the discharge line via the connecting line, while the other contact half is still in metallic contact with the supply line, A b b. III the switched-off state after the contact half that is connected to the diode has also canceled the metallic connection between the supply line. The supply line 1 leads to the fixed contact piece 2 with the consumable contact pieces 3 and 4. The movable contact piece is divided into a first and a second partial contact piece, 5 and 6; here the partial contact pieces are the consumable pieces. The discharge line 7 leads via the connecting line 8 directly to the first movable partial contact piece 6 and also, with the interposition of the diode 9, to the second movable partial contact piece 5. When switching on, the diode is activated by the connection between the consumable piece 4 of the fixed contact piece 2 and the first movable partial contact piece 6 quickly bridged and, if it was not blocked, relieved immediately. This is particularly important when switching large inductive loads because of the slowly decaying direct current element. When opening, the first movable partial contact piece 6 first lifts off from the consumable piece 4 of the stationary contact piece 2. If the diode is blocked, an arc can occur, depending on the switching moment and the level of load. Due to the small air gap between the fixed consumable piece 4 and the first movable partial contact piece 6, it cannot expand, since any additional dynamic effect on the arc is carefully avoided. The control of the switching power is also favorable as a result. When the current changes, the diode takes over the current conduction, and the arc on the first movable partial contact piece 6 and the consumable piece 4 on the stationary contact piece 2 disappears. When opening further, an arc occurs on the second movable partial contact piece 5 and the consumable contact piece 3 of the fixed contact piece 2 with a small air gap between the second movable partial contact piece 5 and consumable contact piece 3 of the fixed contact piece 2, if the diode is not blocked, which disappears after the current has changed. Now the first movable partial contact piece 6 is so far away from the consumable piece 4 of the fixed contact piece 2 that no re-ignition takes place, and just as little on the second movable partial contact piece 5 and the consumable contact piece 3 of the fixed contact piece 2 when the blocking of the diode is over.
The shutdown process took place with a small air gap between the opening contact pieces and therefore under the prerequisite for a favorable burn-off - large contact surface with a small air gap between the opening contact pieces. If a higher voltage security is desired, the movable contact pieces can be further removed from the consumable contact pieces 3 and 4 of the stationary contact piece 2 after the disconnection process.
The load on the diode during operation is practically zero,
because the ohmic resistance of the second movable partial contact piece in which the
Diode, 1, 2, 3, 5, 9, 7, is much larger than that of the pitch circle with
the connecting line 8, since the current, and therefore almost the entire current,
Via the first movable partial contact piece 6 to the erosion contact piece 4 of the stationary one
Contact piece 2 flows.
