Description

Soll an der Lamb'schen Strickmaschine nicht glatt rund, sondern einseitig offen gearbeitet werden, so mufs, z. B. nach Fig. 3 beiliegender Zeichnung, beim Zuge 1 nach rechts die hintere Nadelreihe, bei 2 nach links die vordere, bei 3 nach rechts wieder die vordere und bei 4 nach links die hintere Nadelreihe in Thätigkeit sein. Dies erfordert, dafs an der rechten Seite der Maschine die Stellschieberplatten α nach einer Umdrehung der Welle f links, und nach der nächsten Umdrehung nach rechts hin verschoben werden. Das erstere Verschieben nach links erfolgt durch Anstofsen von α an die bekannten Riegel c, Fig. 1 und 4, während der Schlitten b nach rechts hingezogen wird. Damit man nun bei der nächsten Umdrehung die Schieber a nach rechts rücken kann, müssen zunächst die Riegel c für diese Drehung entfernt, also gesenkt werden, so dafs eine besondere Vorrichtung dann die Schieber α nach rechts schieben kann.If you do not want to work smoothly round on the Lamb knitting machine, but open on one side, then you have to, e.g. B. according to Fig. 3 of the accompanying drawing, with move 1 to the right the rear row of needles, with 2 to the left the front row, with 3 to the right again the front row and with 4 to the left the rear row of needles are in operation. Mit der Platte / ist ein Querstück m verbunden, welches an den Stiften d die Riegel c erfafst und bei der Bewegung von / auch diese Riegel c hebt und senkt, also während einer Drehung von f sie bei d senkt und bei c hebt, so dafs die Schieber α an sie stofsen und bei der nächsten Drehung sie bei d hebt und bei c senkt, in welcher Lage, wie in Fig. 1 gezeichnet, α nicht an c trifft.For this purpose the drive shaft f carries a spur gear g which turns a twice as large gear h. Wenn ferner bei der nächsten Umdrehung die Riegel c gehoben sind, so ist / so tief gesenkt, dafs die Arme / nicht daran stofsen, also dann die Verstellung von α nach links durch die Riegel c erfolgen kann.
