Programmer The invention relates to a programmer in which
Switches are operated by switching pins by means of a punched card that is moved step by step,
which independently maintain their respective on or off position.
der deutschen Patentanmeldung Sch 4572, K1. 21 c, Gr. 62/80, bekanntgemacht am 7.4.1955).In a known arrangement (A b b. 1) a comb of contact arms grinds
1 with its contact pieces on a moving punch card 2. At the point where
the card 2 has a hole 3, pushes the contact piece of the contact arm 1 through
the hole 3 through to a contact track 4 and closes a control circuit (German
Patent 732,511). In another known arrangement (German Auslegeschrift
1085 948) are switches with elastic or magnetic position storage
used, so that only switch-on or switch-off pulses are given to the switch for switching
need to become. A programmer is also known in which the switch pins
close the switch when passing through the holes of a punched card (interpretation document
the German patent application Sch 4572, K1. 21 c, size. 62/80, announced on 7.4.1955).
In the arrangement according to the invention (from b. 2), in contrast to the pneumatically operated switch according to German Auslegeschrift 1085 948, a rocker switch is used, which is much simpler in structure. The contact pieces 6, 8 are closed or opened via the rocker 5, depending on whether the switching pin 7 or 9 reaches through the hole in the program card 11. Due to mechanical friction, the respective off or setting is retained even after the switching impulse has disappeared. In order to achieve sufficient contact forces, certain minimum torques are required to operate the rocker. For this reason, the distance a between the two switching pins 7, 9 must have a certain, not too small, minimum size for given switching forces. If the switch-on and switch-off holes are arranged next to one another on the program card, the program step by which the punch card advances during transport from one punch program group to the next becomes relatively large. The use of the card is therefore poor, so that only short programs can be accommodated with a given card size.
The invention is based on the object of utilizing the punch card
to improve.
abtastenden Schaltstifte betragen. This object is achieved according to the invention in that the switch
is designed as a rocker switch and the respective hole spacing on the punch card
one third and the step distance two thirds of the distance of the punch card
sensing switch pins amount.
A rückt dabei an die Stelle A'. An dieser Stelle A' kann durch das
Loch A kein Schalter betätigt werden.
Abstand a hat.
Stellungsspeicherung besitzen. An embodiment of the invention is shown in A b b. 2, and the mode of operation is explained in more detail on the basis of this figure. In the position shown, hole A on punch card 11 would allow a switch-on pulse, and hole C on another switch would allow a switch-off pulse. After actuating the switch, after the step time has elapsed, the card 11 is transported further by the step distance s, which is two thirds of the distance a between the switch pins, and the hole A moves to the point A '. At this point A ' through the hole A no switch can be operated. The hole B, which was at a distance b in front of the hole A, moves to the point B ', at which no switch can be actuated through the hole B either. The hole E on the other hand, which has migrated to the point E ', allows a switch-off pulse. If the card advances by a further step at a step distance, the hole A moves from the position A ' to the position A " and thus leaves the switch area. The hole B moves from the position B' to the position B", whereby through this a switch-off pulse can be given. It can be seen that in the invention, each hole in the card can only allow either one switch-off or one switch-on pulse. If you want to switch on and off alternately at each step, the corresponding card must be provided with holes in such a way that two holes are next to each other at a distance b and the first of the next two holes is a distance a from the last of the two preceding ones. The punch card is optimally used. It is expedient to use narrow switches for the programmer whose distance from one another perpendicular to the direction of advance of the program card is also b. In this way, you can put an extensive program on a small map. In a further embodiment of the invention, the rocker switches can have elastic or magnetic position storage.
