Description
Shelter system The invention relates to a shelter system at which can lower a building into a shaft in case of danger and the shaft through one Lid is lockable.
In a known protective structure of the type in question the shaft into which the building is lowered is controlled by a roller two-part cover made of concrete parts.
In the case of such a system, the inventor found it disadvantageous that that the cover, which in the case of large manholes has considerable dimensions, cannot additionally be used for other purposes.
The invention is therefore based on the object of a cover plate to create a shaft into which a house can be lowered in case of danger, which can also be used for peaceful purposes.
The solution to this problem is seen according to the invention that the cover is designed as an armored, mobile car garage.
This has the advantage that the occupied by the lid The land area can also be used for garage purposes.
In a further embodiment of the invention, it is considered expedient that the cover can be moved by means of an electric motor. It is also advantageous to equip the lid with a petrol or diesel engine in case of an emergency. If the building is in the flood-prone area, the lid is on Equipped with a shaft through which an extendable tower of the building is passed that serves as an emergency exit.
Embodiments of the invention are shown in the drawing. FIG. 1 and FIG. 2 show the building in the extended state in section and in plan view, FIG. 3 and 4 the building in the lowered state in section and in plan view, FIG. 5 the F i g. 3 on an enlarged scale, FIG. 6 and 7 the cover in longitudinal and cross-section, F i g. 8 the building in the extended state with the extendable tower and supply lines, F i g. 9 the building in its lowered position in the flooded area with the tower extended. The building 1 is connected on two opposite sides of its base plate 2 with ropes 3, which run over rollers 5 and drive drums 6 in counterweight shafts 7 and are provided with counterweights 8 there. The weight of the counterweights 8 corresponds to the weight of the building 1. As a result, in addition to other advantages, the drive devices required for moving the building 1 can also be kept small. The drive drums 6 are driven by synchronously operating motors that can be controlled inside the building 1. The building 1 can be lowered into the shaft 4, being guided along the shaft walls by rubber wheels 11 and held in place by hinged locking devices 17. The space between the building 1 and the shaft 4 is covered by inflatable pneumatic belts 15 and by flaps 16 in a gastight and watertight manner. The cover 20 , designed as a car garage, runs on wheels 19 which are guided in rails 18. The cover 20 is equipped with an electric motor and, as a reserve, with a gasoline or diesel engine. The switching system of the motors is designed so that starting one or the other type of motor can be controlled from inside the lowered building 1. The building 1 can be connected to the municipal supply lines 21 via short quick-connect hoses 22 both in the extended state (FIG. 8) and in the lowered state (FIGS. 5, 9). Through the electrical cable 23, the building 1 is constantly connected to the municipal energy supply and to its own emergency power system. If the building 1 is in a flood-prone area, an extendable tower 25 is installed in the upper part of the building 1, which can be guided through a shaft within the cover 20 to above the water level and serves as an emergency exit.
