Angeln, bei welchen sich der Haken beim Ziehen der Angel durch das Wasser drehen kann, sind zwar bereits, z. B. durch die amerikanischen Patentschriften 536185 und 496441, bekannt geworden. Die Haken bei dem Gegenstande des amerikanischen Patents 536185 stehen aber gewöhnlich still und drehen sich erst dann, wenn Gras oder andere Pflanzentheile die sich stets drehenden Flügel mit den Haken in Verbindung bringen. Bei dem Gegenstande des amerikanischen Patents 496441 werden die einen Haken von einem besonderen Flügelrad gedreht, während die anderen Haken gewöhnlich still stehen und sich, wie bei dem Gegenstande des amerikanischen Patents 536185, erst dann mitdrehen, wenn Grashalme u. s. w. dieselben mit ersteren Haken und dem Flügelrad verbinden.
