Die Erfindung betrifft eine Tragschiene für Hängehefter mit einer randoffenen Ausnehmung im Hängerand und mindestens einer diese übergreifenden Hängenase, z. B. Der letztere wird beim Einhängen des Hängehefters von einem verdickten Ende der Hängenase übergriffen. Beim Aus- und Einhängen des Hängehefters muß die Niederhalteschiene jeweils durch das verdickte Nasenende elastisch verformt werden. Auf diese Weise soll eine gewisse Sicherung gegen ein unbeabsichtigtes Aushängen gewährleistet werden. Das verdickte Ende der Hängenase ragt jedoch bei hängendem Hefter seitlich nur unwesentlich über den Verstärkungswulst der Tragschiene hinaus, so daß die Niederhalteschiene etwaigen Pendel- oder Schwenkbewegungen der Hängehefter nur ein geringes Bremsmoment entgegensetzt, das insbesondere an den Umlenkstellen von Paternosterregistraturen nicht ausreicht, um ein heftiges Pendeln der Hängehefter zu unterbinden. Ein solches kann jedoch ein Blockieren des Paternosterumlaufs bzw. sonstige Betriebsstörungen der Registratur hervorrufen. Das geringe Bremsmoment der bekannten Niederhalteschiene reicht auch nicht aus, um bei Hängeregistraturen ohne Paternosterumlauf ein Verschwenken der Hänge- bzw.
