Die Schwenklinie zwischen den beiden Klemmplatten liegt weit unterhalb der Mündung des Schlitzes. Infolge dieser Ausbildung der Befestigungsvorrichtung ist praktisch keine flächige Anlage der Klemmplatten an den Flankenflächen des Schlitzes, sondern nur eine linienförmige Anlage zu erreichen. Weise erhält man eine beträchtliche Hebelübersetzung der durch die zusammenziehenden Elemente an den Klemmflächen erzeugten Klemmkraft. Verschiedene Ausführungsformen der Erfindung sind in der Zeichnung dargestellt und nachstehend erläutert. Es zeigt F i g. 1 einen Handlauf und zwei Klemmplatten der Befestigungsvorrichtung in einem perspektivischen Schnittbild, Fig. 2 und 3 je einen Querschnitt durch eine Befestigungsvorrichtung, F i g. 4 eine Befestigungsvorrichtung mit anderen Elementen zum Zusammenziehen der Klemmplatten in einem perspektivischen Schnittbild, F i g. 5 einen Querschnitt durch eine Befestigungsvorrichtung gemäß F i g. 4 und F i g. 6 eine Perspektivansicht eines auf einem Pfosten befestigten Handlaufes. Gleiche Bezugszahlen bedeuten in allen Figuren gleiche Teile. Ein Handlauf 5 ist an seiner Unterseite mit einem schwalbenschwanzförmig erweiterten Schlitz 6 versehen, und Klemmplatten 7 haben Klemmköpfe 8 mit trapezförmigem Querschnitt, so daß zwei Klemmköpfe 8 zusammen einen vollen Schwalbenschwanz bilden, der im Schlitz 6 gleiten kann, weil ein keilförmiger Spielraum zwischen den Klemmflächen jedes Klemmkopfes 8 und den beiden Flankenflächen des Schlitzes 6 freibleibt. Die Rückseite jeder Klemmplatte 7 ist an einer Stelle, die etwa an der Mündung des schwalbenschwanzförmigen Schlitzes 6 liegt, etwas angekantet, so daß die beiden Klemmplatten 7 um eine Schwenklinie 9 verschwenkt werden können, wenn die unteren Teile der Klemmplatten 7 zusammengezogen werden. Dabei legen sich die Klemmflächen der Klemmköpfe 8 an die Flankenflächen des Schlitzes 6 so fest an, daß der Handlauf 5 ausreichend befestigt ist. Bei der Ausführungsform nach F i g. 2 ist in eine an einer Wand zu befestigende GrundplattelO ein Bolzenll eingeschraubt, der ein Abstandsstück 12 und zwei Klemmplatten 7 trägt. Eine abgewandelte Ausführungsform mit einem gekrümmten Teil 14 zeigt Fig. 3. Gemäß F i g. 4, 5 und 6 greifen die unteren Enden der Klemmplatten 7 in eine Ausnehmung 22 paarweise angeordneter Verriegelungsteile 20 ein und sitzen auf Absätzen 21 auf. Zum Befestigen der Verriegelungsteile 20 in einem Pfosten 26 wird dasselbe Prinzip wie zum Befestigen der Klemmplatten 7 im Handlauf 5 angewandt. Die Schwenklinie der Verriegelungsteile 20 liegt an der Stelle 23. Die Befestigungsvorrichtung wird mittels eines Bolzens 24 zusammengezogen, der durch Löcher 13 in den Klemmplatten 7 und Bohrungen 25 in den Verriegelungsteilen 20 geht, so daß beim Anziehen des Bolzens 24 die Verriegelungsteile 20 an der Stelle 23 schwenken und dabei die unteren Enden der Klemmplatten 7 zusammendrücken.
