Es war nun erforderlich, sowohl die Rahmen gegenüber den Pfosten als auch die Isolierplatten gegenüber denselben abzudichten. Dies erforderte häufig einen erheblichen Arbeits- und Materialaufwand. Auch bestand bei den Pfosten immer das Problem, daß diese eine Kältebrücke bildeten. Türstockprofile aufgesetzt sind. Bei der Außenwand gemäß vorliegender Erfindung werden also die Isolierplatten als tragendes Konstruktionselement verwendet. Sie selbst begrenzen die Fenster- und Türöffnungen und tragen die erforderliehen Fensterstockprofile bzw. Türstockprofile. Es entfällt damit die Herstellung und Montage selbständiger Fenster- und Türrahmen. Es können außerdem die früher zwischen den Isolierplatten erforderlichen Stützpfosten entfallen. Durch Anbringung geeigneter Haltevorrichtungen an den Geschoßdecken oder Stützpfeilern des Gebäudes können die Isolierplatten mit denselben verbunden werden. Es entfällt damit auch die früher übliche und erforderliche Abdichtung zwischen den senkrechten Pfosten und den Isolierplatten bzw. den Fenster- und Türrahmen. Da die Fensterstockpronle und die Türstockprofile auf die aus elastischem Material bestehenden Dichtungsleisten der Isolierplatten aufgesetzt sind, ist nicht nur ihre Montage sehr einfach, sondern es entfällt auch eine gesonderte Abdichtung zwischen den Fensterstockprofilen bzw.
