The invention relates to a method for wet drilling holes in minerals by means of a rotary drilling hollow rod, which consists of pipe sections connected by hollow couplings, which are connected to a are provided on the pipe circumference helically extending strip. The invention also relates to a special design of the linkage that is used to carry out the process.
As in the special print from "Berg Freiheit", Zeitschrift für den Deutschen Bergbau, No. 4.1962, p. 10, left column, para. 2, it is customary to carry out the drilling work either wet or dry. However, opinions differ as to the usefulness of one or the other method. Each of the two drilling methods is said to have disadvantages. When drilling dry, the blowing out of the boreholes, even if only briefly, in the area of the borehole mouth to a right lead to considerable dust generation. When drilling wet, the flushing water flows in with the cuttings the walled wall and leads to nuisance, in some cases also to the swelling of the lying person. Farther Partial flushing of the borehole walls must be expected, so that not always the uniform diameter required for sealing a drinking head is maintained and the setting of the seal is difficult. Dry drilling is often preferred. Additional devices had to be installed in order to avoid nuisance from the drilling dust the latter can be knocked down again or sucked off at the mouth of the borehole.
According to the invention an advantageous and advanced method for wet drilling of Holes in minerals by means of a rotary drilling hollow rod achieved in that the at the bottom of the borehole The resulting drilling dust is moistened to a pulp by adding only a small amount of liquid and then poured into this tough state by means of the bar provided on the pipe section of the rod Borehole mouth is transported.
In the method according to the invention, the sludge pollution is far less than in the known one Wet drilling. It has also been found that the holes drilled by this method are smoother. The detergent requirement is kept low.

Derart glatte Bohrlöcher erleichtern das Anbringen der Tränkköpfe.so as quickly as possible to remove the borehole wall from the drilled ones Mineral particles are freed, which leads to the nuisance caused by dust or water. The drill receives but the possibility of using its screw conveyor to lay directly on the wall of the borehole, whereby the borehole is widened or knocked out. In the method according to the invention will basically leave this known method. It will now be for a correspondingly longer period Stay of a pulp between the drill and the borehole wall is ensured. This pulp forms one Smear layer, the resistance of which is not great, but which always appears in the same way as this Areas of mechanical engineering that produce lubricants, a protective layer that prevents wear diminishes. This pulpy intermediate layer is neither blown out nor rinsed out, but slowly pushed towards the mouth of the borehole. This pulp can be used without complicated collecting devices collected and disposed of. The pulpy intermediate layer in the borehole causes a Centering the linkage and largely prevents the linkage from running hard on the Borehole wall. In addition, large-pored areas in the borehole wall are to a certain extent caused by the pulp smeared out. Such smooth boreholes make it easier to attach the drinking heads.
Damit wird dieAnother feature of the invention is that the slurry on the way to the borehole mouth in approximately the pipe sections of the rods corresponding distances by feeding less Liquid subsets is kept in its moistened, viscous state.
