Description
Process for gassing or aerating liquids, in particular Sewage, medical baths or the like.
Addition to the patent: 1153 725 The main patent describes a gassing process in which the gas is added to the liquid in a ratio of no more than 1 / lo volume fraction and an overpressure of at least 0.5 in the liquid-gas mixture before entering the gassing container atü is generated.
Tests have shown that under these circumstances a completely unexpected good fine distribution of the gas in the liquid is achieved, which is presumably is due to the fact that the gas is initially under the pressure in the Liquid dissolves and in the expansion in the gas tank in the form of the smallest Bubbles foaming, which then in a depressurized state during the very slow ascent go completely into solution again.
In order to make an optimal dosage of the gas in all cases to be able to, it is proposed that the liquid-gas mixture below at least such a pressure and at most such a volume fraction of gas to liquid is passed into the gassing tank that the gas introduced into the liquid as a result of the liquid-gas mixture before entering the gas tank generated pressure goes into solution and after the relaxation in the gassing tank foams in the form of the finest bubbles.
This makes it possible for any liquid-gas mixture to achieve the desired gassing ratio without consuming additional gas will. It is also possible to use different pressures and mixing ratios to work, provided only the gas is dissolved before it enters the gas tank will.
The invention will now be described on the basis of two exemplary embodiments will. In the first case, the process is to be described for an activated sludge plant in the second case its use in medicinal baths is described.
According to the main patent, an activated sludge system is to be circulated by means of a pressure pump. Oxygen should be supplied to the pressure side or suction side of the pressure pump. As a result of the pressure effect, the water-oxygen mixture is to be compressed to 0.5 atmospheres and passed through pressure nozzles near the bottom into the activated sludge basin. The amount of oxygen supplied should be measured in such a way that the oxygen in the pressure line is completely dissolved and, after it has been released, foams in very fine bubbles at the bottom of the activated sludge container. This causes the water to mix intimately with the oxygen bubbles, as a result of which the associated activated sludge is enriched with oxygen. This promotes the biological degradation of the wastewater.
In the second case, medical baths should be powered by a pressurized water pipe be fed. By means of a pressure accumulator, carbonic acid is released into the pressurized water pipe fed in, the amount of carbonic acid being measured so that the carbonic acid in the pressure water line is fully released. Through pressure openings the carbonated Water fed into the medicinal baths, whereby the carbonic acid relaxes and foams up in tiny bubbles. This creates an intimate connection between the carbonic acid with the water in the baths, so that its pH content rises.
. In both cases, maximum utilization of the gas introduced takes place, since the pressure and volume fraction are chosen so that no large bubbles occur and, as a result, the losses are low. .
The invention can be used in all of the application examples mentioned in the main patent and areas of application.
