Claims (20)
1. Verfahren zur Modulation der Aktivierung eines Wachstumsfaktor-Rezeptors,
umfassend Inkontaktbringen einer Zelle oder eines Organismus, enthaltend einen aktivierbaren Wachstumsfaktor-Rezeptor, mit einem
Modulator der G-Protein-vermittelten Signaltransduktion.
2. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, wobei die Aktivierung des Wachstumsfaktor-Rezeptors
durch dessen extrazelluläre Domäne vermittelt wird.
3. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, wobei die Aktivierung des Wachstumsfaktor-Rezeptors durch einen extrazellulären Signalweg
vermittelt wird.
4. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, wobei der Wachstumsfaktor-Rezeptor durch Tyrosin-Phosphorylierung aktiviert wird.
5. Verfahren nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei der Wachstumsfaktor-Rezeptor EGFR ist.
6. Verfahren nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei der Modulator auf ein G-Protein, einen G-Protein-gekoppelten Rezeptor
und/oder eine Protease wirkt.
7. Verfahren nach Anspruch 6, wobei der Modulator auf eine Protease wirkt.

8. Verfahren nach Anspruch 7, wobei der Modulator auf die Protease wirkt,
indem er die Proteaseaktivität direkt stimuliert oder inhibiert.
9. Verfahren nach Anspruch 7 oder 8, wobei die Protease einen Proteinvorläufer eines Liganden des Wachstumsfaktor-Rezeptors spaltet.
10. Verfahren nach Anspruch 9, wobei der Proteinvorläufer ein Membranassoziiertes
Molekül ist.
11. Verfahren nach Anspruch 9 oder 10, wobei der Proteinvorläufer eines
Liganden des Wachstumsfaktor-Rezeptors proHB-EGF ist und der Wachstumsfaktor-Rezeptor EGFR ist.
12. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 7 bis 11, wobei die Protease eine
Membran-assoziierte Protease ist.
13. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 7 bis 12, wobei die Protease eine
Metalloprotease ist.
14. Verfahren nach Anspruch 13, wobei die Metalloprotease eine Zinkabhängige Protease ist.
15. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 7 bis 14, wobei die Proteaseaktivität
durch Batimastat inhibiert wird.
16. Verfahren nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei der Modulator auf die Zelle wirkt, die unterschiedlich zu derjenigen Zelle ist,
die den Wachstumsfaktor-Rezeptor enthält.
17. Verfahren nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche zur Prävention oder
Behandlung von Krankheiten, die mit oder von einer gestörten,

beispielsweise pathologisch erhöhten, Wachstumsfaktor-Rezeptor-Aktivierung
verbunden oder begleitet sind.
18. Verfahren nach Anspruch 17 zur Behandlung von Krebs oder Asthma.
19. Verfahren nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei der
Modulator als pharmazeutisch verträgliche Zusammensetzung verabreicht wird.
20. Verfahren zur Identifizierung und Bereitstellung von Modulatoren der G-Protein-vermittelten
Signaltransduktion, umfassend Inkontaktbringen einer Zelle, die einen aktivierbaren Wachstumsfaktor-Rezeptor enthält, mit einer
Testverbindung, von der angenommen wird, dass sie ein Modulator der G-Protein-vermittelten
Signaltransduktion ist, und Bestimmen des Ausmaßes der Wachstumsfaktor-Rezeptoraktivierung.
