Adjustable permanent magnet The invention relates to an adjustable one
Permanent magnet, its magnetic flux in an air gap in terms of magnitude and direction
is changeable.
worin Lar = Magnetlänge in Magnetisierungsrichtung, LL = Luftspaltlänge,
In known adjustable permanent magnet systems, one or more cylindrical, transversely magnetized magnets are rotatably arranged between soft iron poles, the cylindrical surfaces of which are connected to the soft iron pieces. By rotating the magnets around their axis, the magnetic flux to the soft iron poles is adjusted. However, this design of adjustable permanent magnet systems does not allow the achievement of high magnetic field strengths and / or the use of large air gaps, because the diameter of the cylindrical magnets cannot be selected to be very large; However, a high magnetic field strength in the working air gap requires a large expansion of the magnet in the direction of magnetization according to the known formula where Lar = magnet length in the direction of magnetization, LL = air gap length, HL = field in the air gap, HAT = field in the magnetic material; the last value for the usual magnet materials is fixed at Hm - 300 ... 600 0e (alnico magnets) or Hm 800 ... 1200 0e (oxide magnets).
The invention makes it possible to build permanent magnet systems with large air gaps and / or high field strengths in the air gap while maintaining large values of Lm . It describes a permanent magnet system, the magnetic field of which is continuously adjustable in an air gap between soft iron guide pieces, characterized by two parallel, opposite, straight permanent magnets that are rotatably arranged around their axis of symmetry, with their end faces sliding on one side on a fixed common return plate and on the other hand continuously and variably cover over the likewise fixed connection surfaces of the soft iron guide pieces delimiting the air gap. The assignment between the two permanent magnets and the two soft iron conductors can be reversed so that the field strength in the air gap can be set between any positive and negative values, i.e. also between zero and any positive and negative value within the possible range.
In A b b. 1 besteht das Dauermagnetsystem
6 bezeichnet. An embodiment of the invention is shown in A b b. 1 in longitudinal section and in A b b. 2 shown in cross section. In A b b. 1, the permanent magnet system consists of the two movable magnets 1 and 2, circular in cross section, rotatable about the longitudinal axis, which are combined with the primordial magnetic spacers 3 and 4 to form a block and are slidably arranged on the fixed iron return plate 5. The rotation of the magnets takes place with the handwheel or gear wheel 7 via the shaft 6 and the square projection 13. The soft iron guide pieces 8 and 9 are arranged at a small distance above the movable part of the magnet system by being carried by the primordial magnetic outer jacket 10 ; they are connected to one another by the primordial magnetic part 11. This ensures that only low frictional forces occur between the moving and the stationary parts of the magnet system. The magnetic flux takes the course shown in dashed lines, the magnetic field in the air gap 12 is set by rotating the permanent magnets by means of the wheel 7 by 180 ° from the maximum through zero to the opposite maximum. 'The A b b. 2 shows a cross section through the magnet system in the plane AA of A b b. 1. The two permanent magnets 1 and 2, which are designed in the shape of a segment of a circle, are connected by the primordial magnetic intermediate piece 4 and can rotate freely in the outer jacket 10 about their axis of symmetry. The square end of the actuating shaft 6 is denoted by 13.
When moving the permanent magnetic parts of the adjustable magnet system, the upper ends of the two permanent magnets 1 and 2 slide under the edges of the iron pole pieces 8 and 9; The magnetic flux will preferentially flow towards the iron poles, so that changes in the direction of flux and thus magnetization reversal occur in the areas which are directly adjacent to the soft iron poles. This can be prevented according to the invention in that, as in A b b. 3, the movable permanent magnets 18 and 19 are provided with soft iron plates 20 and 21 that are glued on, soldered on or otherwise fastened.
A material is used for the permanent magnetic parts of the system
