In multilayer color photographic materials for the production of multicolor images according to The process of color development is known to be the three halide silver emulsion layers so coordinated that they are only sensitive to blue, green or red light. In the Suitable color couplers are incorporated into layers, which, during the chromogenic development, with the oxidation product the color developer couple so that next to the silver images there is a yellow, a purple and a blue-green partial image emerges. These three partial images are built after removing the silver and the Residual halogen silver on the overall picture. While the yellow dye in terms of its light absorption about corresponds to the theoretical requirements, this is the case with the cyan dye and the magenta dye not the case. This causes incorrect control of the copying light during the copying process, which leads to errors leads in color rendering. Attempts have been made to correct these errors by adding colored masks the transparent color negatives, which compensate for these incorrect absorptions and thus the incorrect control should cancel the copy light.

In the color images obtained in this way, the remaining co-coupling, which was not converted into image dyes during color development, is eliminated. Furthermore, attempts have been made to mask the secondary color couplers with the help of azides to subsequently dense the image dyes. To achieve this well-known colored masking. Apart from the fact that the color couplers have the disadvantage that they are also unstable in the azide, they will only generally not couple the remaining purple component with the oxidized one in a yellow color developer in a satisfactory manner. Furthermore, the vote 40 azo dye is transferred, while no masking of the color density of these colored couplers can be achieved on either the cyan dye,
The gradation of the dye image as well as it has now been found that this difficulty, in particular on the secondary density of the image dye, is very difficult, which is difficult in the manufacture of masks. Implementation of the remaining color couplers from farb-Known is also to store the coupling products of 45 developed, color coupler-containing photo-4-alkylpyrazolones with diazonium salts in the graphic layers, in particular the multilayer photographic layer. These cleavage materials, resulting from diazonium salts, avoid in an alkaline medium and can be oxidized when the diazonium salts of aminosalicylic bleaching bath are oxidized to yellow dyes. Should hereby use acids, preferably in a mixture with alkylnaphthalene, both the purple dye and the blue-green sulfonic acids,
