Das neue Verfahren besteht darin, dafs die Ruthen gleichzeitig mit den Schüssen eingeführt werden, während bei den bisher üblichen Verfahren Schufs und Ruthe nach einander eingeführt wurden. Fig. 2 zeigt die Fadenhebung in dem Zeitpunkte, in welchem eine Ruthe r für das Unterwerk gleichzeitig mit dem Einführen des Schützens . in dieses erfolgt. Die Polfäden b für das Unterwerk sind hierbei gehoben, so dafs die Ruthe r unter denselben eingeführt wird. Fig. 3 hingegen kennzeichnet die Fadenlage beim Einführen eines Schusses in das Oberwerk, wobei das Einführen einer Ruthe nicht stattfindet. Durch das neue Verfahren wird, da die Zeit für die Einführung der Ruthen gespart wird, eine weit gröfsere Arbeitsleistung der Stühle erzielt.
