Description

Vorrichtung zum Erzeugen von Rauchwolken durch Verdampfen von Ölen od. dgl., insbesondere für Spielzeuglokomotiven Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum Erzeugen von Rauchwolken durch Verdampfen von ölen, Wachsen, Räucheressenzen od. dgl., insbesondere für Spielzeuglokomotiven, wobei am Boden des das Verdampfungsmittel enthaltenden Behälters ein dünnwandiges und einen engen Querschnitt aufweisendes elektrisch beheiztes Steigrohr in Form einer Kapillare mündet. Bei der im Hauptpatent beschriebenen Ausführungsform ist die elektrische Heizvorrichtung auf dem Steigrohr aufgewickelt. Da bei Spielzeuglokomotiven, -häusern oder anderen der Natur nachgebildeten Gegenständen, in denen zur Rauch-bzw. Dampfentwicklung diese Vorrichtung eingebaut wird, oft - insbesondere bei kleinen Ausführungsformen - nur sehr wenig Platz zur Verfügung steht, hat es sich als vorteilhaft erwiesen, die Dampfentwicklervorrichtung noch raumsparender auszubilden, um eine noch umfassendere Anwendung zu ermöglichen. Zu diesem Zweck wird gemäß der Erfindung vorgeschlagen, daß das Steigrohr der elektrische Heizwiderstand für das Verdampfungsmittel ist. Sofern der Dampfentwicklereinsatz in gleicher Größe wie bei den bisher bekannten Vorrichtungen dieser Art ausgebildet ist, ergibt sich der Vorteil, daß der Vorratsraum für die Aufnahme des zu verdampfenden Dampfmittels noch größer ist und daher seltener aufgefüllt werden muß. Außerdem entfällt bei der Herstellung die bei den meist sehr kleinen Ausführungsformen recht schwierige Arbeit der gleichmäßigen Aufbringung einer Widerstandsdrahtspirale auf das Steigrohr.
