Description
Method of obtaining a frequency given by a constant Frequency deviates by a constant compared to its small amount The invention refers to a method of extracting a frequency from a constant given frequency deviates by a constant compared to its small amount.
It is already known to perform this task using three generators to solve, the first of which is the given constant frequency and the second one also constant, independent of the first, representing the target level frequency Frequency and the third generates the frequency that is dependent on the first two, which automatically adjusts to the target distance from the given constant frequency, d. H. regulated to the sum or the difference frequency of the first two generators will.
The method according to the invention does not use any of the given frequency independent generator for generating the target distance frequency.
It is characterized in that the target distance frequency by Division is obtained from the given frequency.
According to this method, the target spacing frequency is also rigid coupled to the given frequency. It can be used with particular advantage to generate of the color subcarrier for color television broadcasting according to the NTSC system or others Apply color television process with color subcarrier. With such color television broadcasts Disturbing point grids that slowly slide through the image can occur. These annoying disturbances in both the color and the compatible black and white image can occur are caused by the color subcarrier component in the brightness signal.
It is known that this effect can be achieved by a suitable choice of the frequency of the To reduce color auxiliary to a no longer disturbing level. If this frequency represents a multiple of the frame rate, the existing dot matrix and this makes it less disturbing.
With the European 625-line standard, however, there is a minimum of interference when the frequency of the color subcarrier differs by ± 1/3 image frequency from an integer multiple of the third of the line frequency, although frequencies that are the harmonics of the line frequency fail. The representation of the frequencies necessary for the transmission of colored images under these conditions causes difficulties.
These can be overcome by using the method according to the invention will.
The A bb. 1 shows a block diagram of a circuit arrangement operating in accordance with the method according to the invention. In the z. B. quartz-controlled generator 1 is the frequency, generated. This is then by means of the 2 dividing in the ratio 1: 11 frequency divider stages 2 and 3 and the frequency divider stage 4 dividing in the ratio 1: 7 down to the frequency divided down. By mixing the input and output frequency of the frequency divider stage 4 in the mixer stage 5, the frequency becomes the difference frequency obtained through a filter 6, which is used to suppress the unwanted frequencies and serves, at the encoder 7 arrives and controls this. The frame rate fb generated by it is converted to the frequency in a frequency divider stage 8 divided down. This is fed to a phase comparison stage 9. In this it is compared with a voltage that is produced by mixing the output voltages of the generator 1 and a further, controllable oscillator 10 in a mixer 11 . The generator 10 generates the desired frequency to which it is regulated by means of the reactance stage 13 of the control voltage obtained in the phase comparison stage 9 and filtered through the low-pass filter 12. It has proven to be expedient to use the phase comparison stage 9 in accordance with the one shown in A b b. 2 shown, known per se circuit arrangement. It contains two diodes 14, 15 connected in series in the manner of a clamping circuit, the free electrodes 16, 17 of the two diodes 14 and 15 being placed via resistors 18 and 19 at the base of the circuit arrangement. Different polarity pulses are applied to the resistors 18 and 19 , the repetition frequency of which is equal to the frequency obtained in the frequency divider stage 8 is. The frequency to be compared with this, coming from the mixer stage 11 , is fed to the phase comparison stage via the capacitor 21 at the connection point 20 of the two diodes 14 and 15. The resulting control voltage then lies between point 20 and the base point of the circuit arrangement and reaches the reactance stage 13 via the low-pass filter. The control voltage has the value shown in A b b. 3 schematically illustrated course with the frequency. Depending on whether the deviation from the setpoint frequency is positive or negative, branch 22 or 23 is stable , depending on the mode of operation of the reactance stage 13 used.
The reactance stage 13 can be omitted if the frequency of the oscillator 10 can be changed directly by a control voltage.
