Der Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung bezweckt ein selbstthätiges Schliefsen von Fenstern sowohl beim Eintritt von Regen als auch beim Eintritt von Schnee. Von bekannten Fensterschliefsern, deren Wirkung darauf beruht, dafs sich aus organischen Substanzen bestehende Bänder u. dergl. beim Feuchtwerden zusammenziehen, und dadurch die Freigabe einer Schliefsfeder bewirken, unterscheidet sich der Gegenstand der Erfindung dadurch, dafs die Spannung einer durch ein Papierband gespannten Feder beim Reifsen des Papierbandes aufgehoben und dadurch das Sperrrad b.ezw. die Schliefsfedertrommel freigegeben wird.The object of the present invention aims at an automatic closing of Windows both when rain and snow come in.
