Zusätzliche Dioden 189 a und 189 & führen zu den anderen, nicht dargestellten Meldern des Meldesystems, wobei jeder zusätzliche Gleichrichter mit einem Fehlersignalkontakt in der gleichen Weise verbunden ist wie die Diode 189 mit dem Kontakt 176. Die so angeordneten Gleichrichter bilden mit dem Prüfkontakt 186 zusammen einen einzigen Prüfschalter, welcher gleichzeitig ein Prüfsignal zur Betätigung aller logischen Systeme, Wecker und Anzeiger in allen Meldern des Meldesystems geben kann.
