Diese neue Fadenbremse besteht aus einem kegelförmigen, oben offenen Hütchen α aus Blech oder einem keramischen Stoff, wie nach Fig. ι, oder aus Draht, wie beispielsweise nach Fig. 2 und 3, welche Hütchen den Cops, Bobinen b oder dergl., wie in Fig. 4 bis 6 gezeigt, nach Durchziehung des Fadens durch die Kegelspitze aufgesetzt werden. Das Eigengewicht dieser Hütchen wirkt bremsend auf den durch den Fadenverbrauch der Maschine bewirkten Ablauf des Fadens an den Cops u. s. w., die z. B. bei Kettenvorbereitungsmaschinen auf die senkrecht stehenden Spindeln aufgesteckt sind. Die Bremsung des Fadens durch besagte Hütchen ist selbstthätig eine derartige, dafs von den Cops nicht mehr Faden ablaufen kann, als von der Maschine jeweils gebraucht wird, und dafs der von der letzteren benöthigte Faden stets doch mit genügender Leichtigkeit abgehen kann. Auf diese Weise bewirken die Bremshütchen fortgesetzt eine gleichmäfsige Spannung des Fadens nicht nur bei dessen Ablauf von den Cops, sondern auch auf seinem Garig durch die Maschine.This new thread brake consists of a conical, open-topped hat α made of sheet metal or a ceramic material, as shown in Fig. Ι, or made of wire, as shown in Fig. 2 and 3, which hats the cops, bobbins b or the like.
