Der vorliegende Kleiderbügel ist im oberen Theil bogenförmig gestaltet und zum Aufhängen von Rock und Weste geeignet, während der untere Theil aus einer Anzahl von Stäben in Gestalt eines Parallelogrammes hergestellt ist. Sämmtliche Verbindungsstellen der Stäbe sind Gelenke, so dafs durch Verschiebung in der Längsrichtung zwei gegenüberliegende Seiten einander genähert werden können. Auf diese Weise kann durch Aufwärtsbewegen des einen Stabes der Abstand der senkrechten Stäbe derart verringert werden, dafs die untere Oeffnung eines Hosenbeines über das Parallelogramm gestreift werden kann. Wird dann die Anordnung wieder freigegeben, so senkt sich der betreffende Stab wieder herab und der Abstand vergröfsert sich derart, dafs die beiden senkrechten Stäbe sich im Inneren des Hosenbeines anlegen, dieses straff ausbreiten und durch die Reibung festhalten. Diese selbstthätige Einstellung wird durch das Eigengewicht der Hose begünstigt. Es sind zwei derartige Parallelogramme vorgesehen, um beide Hosenbeine befestigen zu können. Durch diese Vorrichtung wird erreicht, dafs die Hose ohne Bruch und Falten frei herabhängt; dieselbe wird sogar geglättet. In gleicher Weise wird das zweite Hosenbein an dem zweiten Parallelogramm befestigt. Es ist hierbei stets nöthig, um das Herabfallen der Hose zu verhüten, dafs die Stäbe d von gröfserer Länge sind, als die Weite des Hosenbeines beträgt. Durch das Gewicht der daran befestigten Hose wird die Herabbewegung des Stabes c unterstützt und ein festes Anlegen der Stäbe b c an die Innenseite des Beines veranlafst. Zwecks Lösung der Befestigung ist nur erforderlich, die Stäbe c hoch zu bewegen, worauf die Hose von selbst herabgleitet.
