Hierbei werden hochviskose, sich nicht vernetzende, plastische und stoßelastische Methylpolysiloxane so verwendet, daß eine kleine Menge der weichen, pastenartigen Silikonmasse, zwischen Schrauben- und Mutterngewinde gebracht, sich beim Eindrehen der Gewindeteile verteilt und sie derart haftend zusammenhält, daß ein selbständiges Lockern oder Verdrehen nicht möglich ist. Das Haften tritt sofort ein und verstärkt sich erheblich nach einer gewissen Standzeit. Wirkt dagegen auf die Gewindeverbindung eine stetige Verdrehungsbeanspruchung ein, dann löst sich die Verschraubung ohne merkbaren Widerstand, so daß die beiden Teile nach Belieben auch feinfühlig gegeneinander verstellt sowie auseinandergeschraubt und wieder zusammengefügt werden können.Device for covering screws with a device to secure them used high-viscosity silicone mass A new screw locking process makes use of certain properties of certain silicones.
