Description
Magnetic tape recorder, particularly for dictation purposes The invention relates to a magnetic tape recorder with repeating device and means for suppression the playback during the repeating process outside the normal forward speed of the tape that can be rewound between winding discs.
In the case of the repeating process, the tape is known to lie during the Short return as well as during the subsequent start-up in the forward direction on the scanning Magnetic head on, so that - because the magnetic tape recorder is playing at the same time is switched - the recorded frequencies in a disruptive way (»yowling« or “Hissing”) can be played back. Usually known magnetic tape recorders (Dictation machines) a contact that is activated during the repeating process when starting the return comes into function, the playback switches off and after the start of the fast forward the Playback switches on again. This point in time when playback is switched on is however before the point in time at which the tape has normal forward speed has reached. It is often the case that the tape is still running backwards when electrically already switched to forward and thus playback, so that even the above-mentioned disturbances already when the tape runs out in the return direction appear.
The invention relates to a magnetic tape recorder of the type specified in the introduction Type in which the aforementioned disadvantages are eliminated according to the invention, that one of the winding plates depends on its direction of rotation, frictionally reversible switch is assigned, which when the winding plate is reversed Playback is paused in a suitable manner, during the subsequent normal forwarding on the other hand, playback only takes place in the range of the normal running speed of the tape makes effective. This particularly simple and reliable solution offers the others Advantage that despite the short duration of the in both directions of the The control processes playing on the tape allow the response time to be set precisely.
In itself, in magnetic tape recorders, the playback is interrupted known during the start-up process, but the known means for the in Use in question not usable.
In the following an exemplary embodiment is given with reference to FIGS of the invention described. Of these figures, Fig. 1 shows a plan view of the essential parts of the proposed training, Fig. 2 one used here Drag contact coupling in cross section, FIG. 3 the circuit arrangement and FIG. 4 a diagram showing the various switching times.
The invention is particularly intended for dictation purposes Magnetic tape recorder with a repeating device and a connected amplifier used. The circuit diagram (Fig. 3) shows the essential parts of the proposed Arrangement with the playback amplifier 1, to the left of the record-playback head 2 and loudspeaker 3 on the right is connected. While the one loudspeaker lead 4 is always connected to the ground 5, the other loudspeaker lead 6 can temporarily be connected to ground in order to prevent the magnetic tape recorder from switching over when rewinding andlor speed increase with normal forward movement in the loudspeaker to suppress. The noise suppression takes place with the help of the Fig. 1 and 2 training described below.
23 begrenzten Endstellungen I und 1I drehrichtungsabhängig steuerbar. Da die Masseverbindung durch den Schleppkontakt 16 bereits beim Kurzrücklauf des Tonbandes hergestellt wird, wird sowohl die Wiedergabe der beim Kurzrücklauf als auch beim anschließenden normalen Vorlauf möglichen Störgeräusche durch den Lautsprecher 3 bzw. einen Hörer verhindert.1 initially shows the lower clutch disc 7, which is arranged below the unwinding plate of a magnetic tape recorder and which is connected to the underside of the unwinding plate on top of a slip clutch, not shown, which works with a layer of felt, for example. A tape reel body sits on the unwinding plate in a known manner that is not shown. While with normal forward the tape is driven from the take-up plate (not shown), when the tape runs back, the lower clutch disc 7 is driven clockwise by coupling the pivotably mounted lower clutch disc 7 to the shaft S of the motor; z. B. by electromagnetic control by means of a return magnet. From the cable pulley 9 of the lower clutch disc 7, the cable wheel 11 (Fig. 2) is driven via the cable 10, which drives a tape length counter (not shown) via the cable 20 and via the slip clutch 13, 14 working with a felt layer 12 to take the drag contact brackets 115 with it depending on the direction of rotation able. The drive-side clutch part 13 and the driven-side clutch part 14 of the slip clutch are pressed against one another with the aid of springs 21. The desired frictional force is regulated by setting the screws 22 accordingly. A silver contact 16 is riveted to one side of the drag contact bracket 15, while the other side of the drag contact bracket is connected to the ground 5 via a flexible connecting wire 17. The drag contact bracket 115 can be controlled depending on the direction of rotation between the end positions I and 1I, which are limited by stops 18 and 23, respectively. In the position I (FIG. 1) indicated by dash-dotted lines, the drag contact bracket 15 rests against the stop 18, while the silver contact 16 rests at the same time against the switching spring 19, which is attached in an isolated manner. In this position I, which the drag contact bracket 15 assumes when the tape runs back, the LF line 6 leading to the loudspeaker 3 is connected to the ground 5 via the switching spring 19, the drag contact 16, the drag contact bracket 15 and the connecting wire 17. This prevents the playback of the frequencies recorded on the tape via the loudspeaker 3 (FIG. 3), which is actually possible with the playback head 2 and the amplifier 1 switched on. This operating state of the proposed arrangement occurs in a magnetic sound dictation machine, for. B. in the case of repeating a, in which first a short rewind of the tape is made effective and then switched to normal forward. During the subsequent normal advance of the tape, which is switched on by a leading magnet (not shown), the lower clutch disc 7 and thus the slip clutch 13, 14 are driven in the counterclockwise direction (FIG. 1). Correspondingly, the drag contact bracket 115 is moved from the position I indicated by dash-dotted lines - initially still dragging along with the drag contact 16 on the switching spring 19 - into the position 1I shown in solid lines. When this position is reached, the drag contact bracket 15 strikes against the stop 23; the connection between drag contact 16 and switching spring 19 is interrupted shortly beforehand - as can be seen from FIG. The time during which the drag contact 16 slides against the switching spring 19 after reversing the direction of tape travel corresponds to the time of the increase in engine speed, during which the audible acceleration of the reproduced frequencies during the increase in speed can be suppressed by "connecting to ground" the LF line 6 . Since the ground connection is established by the drag contact 16 when the tape is briefly rewound, the loudspeaker 3 or a listener prevents the possible interfering noises during the brief rewind as well as during the subsequent normal advance.
B. 0,05 Sekunden. The diagram shown in Fig. 4 shows at to the beginning of the short return, at t1 the closing of the drag contact 16, at t2 the fall of the return magnet or attraction of the feed magnet, at t3 the beginning of the tape feed and at t4 the Opening of the drag contact 16. The critical time between t2 and t3 in which the Low-frequency interference to be suppressed from the tape to the playback head could reach z. B. 0.05 seconds.
