Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung ist ein Phonograph, der durch grofse Einfachheit und entsprechende Billigkeit ganz besonders zur Verwendung als Spielzeug geeignet erscheint. Der Apparat besteht im Wesentlichen aus der Walze a, der die Aufnahme und die Wiedergabemembranen b und c enthaltenden Membramkapsel d, und dem in dem Membranträger e gelagerten Membranrohre f. In die eine dieser Bohrungen ist ein nach aufsen zweckmäfsig schräg abgeschnittener Rohrstutzen k zur Aufnahme des Schalltrichters fest eingesetzt, während in der anderen das Membranrohr f zwischen Spitz- oder Zapfenschrauben so gelagert ist, dafs es mittelst derselben für die Aufnahme fest und für die Wiedergabe lose eingestellt werden kann. Zu diesem Zwecke ist in die Kopfrille der äufseren Zapfenschraube (Fig. 7) ein zugleich als Hebel und Zeiger dienender Stift m eingesetzt, mit Hülfe dessen die Schraube mit Leichtigkeit fester angezogen oder gelöst werden kann, wodurch die Bewegungsfreiheit des Rohres f in horizontaler Richtung erhöht oder aufgehoben werden kann. Die für den jeweiligen Zweck geeignete Stellung des Hebels bezw. der Schraube ist am Membranträger durch die Buchstaben A und W (Aufnahme und Wiedergabe) bezeichnet.In front of the roller, the membrane carrier e is rotatably attached to the base plate i. W tragenden Deckplatte, welche auch hier die Aufgabe- und Wiedergabemembrän kenntlich macht, befestigt (Fig. 2 und 3).turn attached. Ist nun nach entsprechender Drehung des Trägers e um seine senkrechte Achse die Membrankapsel mit ihrer seitlichen Oeffnung auf das Membranrohr gesteckt und so weit als möglich hineingedreht, so ist, wie bereits erwähnt, die innere Rohrmündung durch die Seitenwand der Kapsel verschlossen und der Schall kann demnach nur durch die seitliche Oeffnung η des Rohres f, und zwar immer nur auf die eine zu benutzende, der Oeffnung zugewendete Membran gelangen, welche man durch eine halbe Drehung der Kapsel einstellt. Ist dies geschehen und hat man z. B. die Wiedergabemembran zur Benutzung nach unten eingestellt, sowie die Walze in ihre Anfangsstellung gebracht, so dreht man den Membranträger wieder nach links gegen den auf der Grundplatte befindlichen Anschlag r zurück, wodurch die Membrankapsel in ihre Gebrauchsstellung über der Walze zu liegen kommt, wie in Fig. 1 dargestellt. Durch einen leichten Druck senkt man alsdann, da das Membranrohr in verticaler Richtung infolge seiner eigenthümlichen Lagerung stets etwas beweglich ist, dieses mit der Kapsel soweit, dafs der Stift j die Walze berührt. Patent claim:
