Description
Device for keeping the voltage of a gasoline engine constant driven alternator In the previously known gasoline engines for Drive an alternator which z. B. is to feed an X-ray machine, difficulties arise due to the relatively large voltage collapse during the Load times on. Arrangements are already known in which this voltage drop is compensated by means of devices which use current transformers and rectifiers to the excitation field of the generator driven by the gasoline engine act. These arrangements have because of the inertia of the magnetic field im Generator has the disadvantage that the increase in the current strength in the magnetic field by the Load and thus the voltage compensation only after a certain time Impact is coming. During this time, depending on the size of the generator up to 0.5 sec, but is z. B. a short-term x-ray has already ended; because such X-ray recordings are made with switching times in the order of magnitude of 0.05 sec, especially with the shortest times with the greatest loads.
It is known that when there is a capacitive load on an alternating current generator whose voltage rises proportionally to the capacitance current (characteristic Vectors triangle of the generator). So you can by adding capacities at any load increase the generator voltage and accordingly the generator voltage If possible, keep the size of the capacity at the level of the open circuit voltage and. thus to change the capacitance current so that the latter of the respective load of the generator. The connection of the capacities takes place with the help of Switches; this has the inevitable consequence of being accompanied by surges Swing-in process.
It is also known to compensate for the inductive load reactive current Use capacitors. The capacitors bind so that they are straight cover the magnetization requirement of the generator. Since, however, under load in addition to the inductive the ohmic voltage drop of the generator occurs, the voltage is kept constant not reached.
Another arrangement achieves constant voltage maintenance at fluctuating load current, but it is significantly more complex than that according to the invention Arrangement and also has the disadvantage that by using a transductor Time delays of up to 0.1 sec can occur, times that are necessary for the X-ray exposure mode are intolerable.
The capacitors used in capacitor-excited asynchronous generators have the task of capacitively shifting the load current in order to generate excitation, des Generator.
The invention relates to a device for keeping the voltage constant an alternator driven by a gasoline engine, especially for the supply of an X-ray machine. According to the invention to keep the Generator voltage provided a capacity that is applied to the generator terminal voltage in series with one winding of a transformer, the other winding is traversed by the burner current, so that its capacitance current of the size of the consumer current. Appropriately one uses one in economy circuit switched transformer. The device according to the invention has compared to Known gasoline units mentioned at the outset have the advantage that the voltage compensation takes place practically without inertia, so that z. B. when connecting an X-ray machine the voltage compensation is applied to the petrol unit even with the shortest occurring Exposure times (recording times) can affect. Another advantage is the stepless Mention should be made of regulation of the capacitance current according to the load. Since furthermore the connection of the capacities takes place without a switch, is also the occurrence of transient oscillations accompanied by overvoltages in the two devices according to FIG Invention avoided.
In the drawing is an embodiment for a device shown in accordance with the circuit according to the invention.
A petrol engine 11 @ is used to drive an alternating current generator, the armature of which is denoted by 12. The excitation winding 13 of the generator is connected to the generator terminal voltage via a rectifier arrangement 14 and a field regulator 15 serving to adjust the open circuit voltage. The consumer fed by the generator 12, 13 is an X-ray apparatus, of which, for the sake of simplicity, only the X-ray tube 16, the high-voltage transformer 17, the heating transformer 18 and the heating voltage regulator (tube current regulator) 19 are shown. Of course, the X-ray apparatus can also be provided with a control device for the X-ray tube voltage, among other things. To keep the generator terminal voltage constant, a capacitor 20 is provided, which is connected in series with the winding of an autotransformer 21 to the generator terminal voltage. The aine supply line to the X-ray machine is connected to a tap on the autotransformer winding. The transformer 21 is therefore flowed through on the primary side by the consumer current, that is to say the current picked up by the X-ray apparatus. Since the secondary side of the transformer 21 is connected to the generator voltage in series with the capacitance 20, the capacitance current will change in accordance with the load current. This change takes place practically without any inertia, so that the generator voltage can be kept constant without any inertia. The switch labeled 22 is used in a known manner to switch the X-ray tube voltage on and off, e.g. B. at the start or end of an X-ray exposure. The alternating current generator driven by the gasoline engine 11 can, instead of the rectifier excitation shown in the drawing, also work with self-excitation from its own collector, with self-excitation from an attached excitation machine, with external excitation or with capacitive resonance excitation, because the voltage compensation provided according to the invention is not at the field of the Generator attacks.
