Der Gegenstand der Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur besseren Ausnutzung der Brennstoffe. Dasselbe findet dort hauptsächlich Verwendung, wo der Brennstoff in brennbare Gase übergeführt wird, und diese Gase in Gasmaschinen als Treibmittel dienen. Die Auspuffgase dieser Maschinen bestehen zum Theil aus Kohlensäure, in welcher Form der Kohlenstoff des Brennstoffes verloren geht. Werden nun diese Auspuffgase zum Theil in den Gaserzeuger zurückgeführt, zusammen mit Sauerstoff (Luft) oder Wasserdampf oder einem Gemisch derselben, so wird die Kohlensäure durch Berührung mit der glühenden Kohle wieder in Kohlenoxyd übergeführt, welches wieder zur Explosion in Gasmaschinen verwendet werden kann. Auch wird die ,Wärme des Brennstoffes, welche sonst durch die heißen Auspuffgase verloren geht, durch dieses Verfahren wiedergewonnen, indem die Auspuffgase heiß in den Gaserzeugej zurückgeführt werden.The subject of the invention relates to a method for better utilization of the fuels.
