Mit ihrem Stempel 16 drückt die Kolbenstange auf den Kolben 2 des Arzneimittelbehälters 1. Der Verschlußring 5 besitzt einen Ansatz 17', der in eine Längsnut 18 der Kolbenstange eingreift.
