PATENTAMT.PATENT OFFICE.
Fig. 1 nebst dazugehörigem Schnitt D-E). In the spinning machines for conical spindles, the thread ripening is often caused by the fact that the spindles do not have exactly the same taper over the entire length of the tube. If the latter is the case, ie if the cone of the spindle has a hump at some point, as indicated in the drawing for example in FIG. 1, this has the consequence that the paper tube d cannot adapt to the spindle everywhere along its entire length , but is bulging from this hump. This bulge then propagates to one or the other end of the sleeve as an eccentric projection c (see FIG. 1 with the associated section DE).
Tritt also z.
So occurs z. For example, the projection c on the tapered part of the spindle reveals itself to be the result of the fact that the sleeve cannot attach to the tip; if, on the other hand, it is present on the larger part, the sleeve is of course not flush with the spindle at the bottom. In both cases a beating of the tube, and thereby a hooping of the thread, as well as a completely uneven spinning of the yarn, is inevitable, which causes great damage to the spinning mills.
Ausschnitt entsprechende Erweiterung erhalten.
The subject of the present invention is a process for the production of paper tubes in which such an eccentric shape of the spindles is compensated for by the tube itself, so that the tube nestles smoothly against the spindle both above and below, thereby avoiding the above-mentioned misunderstandings . This method consists in making a wedge-shaped cutout a 1 (Fig. 3) on the paper flakes from which the sleeves d are rolled. These cutouts a 1 are punched out at the same time as those paper sheets are punched out of a paper strip (FIG. 4). The cut-out α l on the sheets of paper has the consequence that the sleeves rolled from the latter receive an enlargement on the inside corresponding to that cut-out. If a spindle now has a hump of the type indicated, the sleeve d is fitted onto the spindle in such a way that that extension comes to sit on this hump α , as in FIG. 2 and its section BC. As a result, the sleeve d will rest evenly and smoothly on the spindle over its entire length, as is indicated in FIG. 2 and its cross-section EF , which prevents the above-mentioned inconvenience.
