Description

DEUTSCHESGERMAN

The invention relates to a Wi ekel medium for toddlers with a child's body moisture-permeable, consisting of non-swellable threads, a layer of absorbent Material covering layer of fabric.

In a known winding means of this type, which is made from non-swellable threads, which A layer of fabric made of polyamide threads that covers a layer of absorbent material. By arranging a Such a layer of fabric is intended that the body of the toddler with those in the absorbent material the liquid excretions contained in it comes into contact with as little as possible in order to avoid skin irritation. However, this goal has not been achieved to a satisfactory extent. The reason for this can be seen in that the polyamide threads used for the stafflage are wettable. Even if they are not swellable and no liquid molecules are incorporated into their molecular structure, they have but the property of holding liquid, in the present case urine, to the surface.

According to the invention, this disadvantage is avoided in that the threads of the moisture-permeable Fabric layer made of a material that cannot be wetted by urine, e.g. B. polyvinyl chloride exist. This repels the urine so that the toddler lies largely dry. The layer of fabric from which not wettable material can also under the conditions given when using the winding means largely to prevent liquid in the absorbent material from returning to the body surface of the toddler.

Experiments have shown that after wetting, the moisture content of urine does not wettable polyvinyl chloride made fabric layer is much lower than the moisture content an otherwise identically formed fabric layer made of polyamide threads.

In a preferred further embodiment of the invention, the moisture-permeable Layer of fabric made of ribbed knitwear. This gives it a larger one with the same weight Thicknesses which are beneficial in keeping the infant's body surface free from moisture affects.

In dieser zeigtTwo exemplary embodiments of the invention are described below with reference to the drawing. In this shows

Figures 5 to 7 show the construction and composition of a rectangular diaper.

According to Fig. 1 is a triangular layer of fabric 1, consisting of one made of non-wettable yarn Polyvinyl chloride fibers produced and worked as a ribbed knitted fabric, along the edge 2 with a pliable protective cover 3 of the same shape and size made of a rubber-like or other impermeable Material sewn together. A rectangular layer 4 is made on the protective cover 3 absorbent material, e.g. B. cellulose wadding loosely placed in such a way that its longitudinal center line is approximately with the Vertical through the sides of the triangle formed by the protective cover 3 on the edge 2 coincides (Fig. 2). Then the triangular layer of fabric 1 is placed around the edge 2 on the layer 4 of cellulose folded down (Fig. 3 and 4). The winding means can be a fastening strap indicated by dash-dotted lines in FIG. 4 5 own.

The child is wrapped with this diaper in such a way that the layer of fabric 1 is made of knitted fabric Body is facing and the cellulose wadding 4 extends between his legs forwards and backwards. When changing the winding means in the usual way, the absorbent layer 4 is replaced by a new one replaced.

The winding means shown in Fig. 5 to 7 differs from that according to Fig. 1 to 4 only in that the moisture- permeable denoted by 1 α

Patentansprüche:casual layer of fabric made of non-wettable threads and the impermeable protective cover 3 a, which is connected to the former by a seam 2 α, are rectangular. 4 a is an absorbent cellulose wadding layer and 5 a denotes a fastening strap. The cellulose wadding layer 4 or 4a and the protective cover 3 or 3 α can also be replaced by a conventional diaper. The threads made of polyvinyl chloride, of which the moisture-permeable knitted fabric according to the examples above is made, are, apart from their very low swellability and non-wettability, also unsuitable for the present purpose because they do not suffer damage from urine or faeces discolor and wash well. The ribbed goods can e.g. B. 1/1 or 2/1 or, which is particularly favorable, be worked 2/2. Patent claims: 1.
