Um ein Drehen des Tasterknopfes in der Abdeckung 3 sowie ein Herausrutschen des Tasterknopfes aus der Abdeckung zu verhindern, ist der Tasterknopf an seinem Mantel mit einem Vorsprung 10 versehen, der in eine Nut 11 der Abdeckung greift. Wird der Tasterknopf 2 in Richtung auf den Schalter sockel 1 gedrückt, so berühren die Kontaktteile 6, 7 in der Tieflage des Tasterknopfes einander, wodurch ein Stromschluß entsteht. Die Fig. 1 stellt einen elektrischen Taster ohne Eigenbeleuchtung und die Fig. 2 einen Taster mit Eigenbeleuchtung dar. Die Taster beider Arten sind hinsichtlich der Schaltersockel 1 und der daran sitzenden Teile, insbesondere der Kontaktteile 6, 7, sowie hinsichtlich der Abdeckung 3 einander gleich ausgebildet. In den Schaltersockel 1 und in die Abdeckung 3 ist ein Tasterknopf 2 einsetzbar. An beiden Tasterarten ist der Tasterknopf 2 an den Stellen, an denen er mit dem Schaltersockel 1 und der Abdeckung 3 zusammenwirkt, gleich ausgebildet. Er kann auch in seinen ganzen Außenabmessungen gleichgestaltet sein. Der Tasterknopf 2 ist bei dem beleuchteten Taster mit einer Glimmlampe 12 und einem Vorschaltwiderstand 13 als elektrisches Beleuchtungsmittel versehen. Glimmlampen und Vorschaltwiderstand sind im Innern des Tasterknopfes untergebracht und von der Abschlußplatte 9 getragen. Die Kappe 8 des Tasterknopfes ist aus lichtdurchlässigem Baustoff hergestellt. Glimmlampe 12 und Vorschaltwiderstand 13 sind an Gegenkontaktteilen 14, 15 angeschlossen, die sich an der Abschlußplatte 9 befinden. An dem beleuchteten Taster dienen die Kontaktteile 6, 7 zugleich zur Stromführung zu der Glimmlampe und dem Vorschaltwiderstand, indem sie dauernd gegen die Kontaktteile 14, 15 des Tasterknopfes anliegen. An dem unbeleuchteten Taster dagegen sind an dem Tasterknopf die Glimmlampe 12, der Vorschaltwiderstand 13 und die Gegenkontaktteile 14,15 fortgelassen. Der unbeleuchtete Tasterknopf ist vorzugsweise von der gleichen Kappe 8 und der gleichen Abschlußplatte 9 gebildet wie der beleuchtete Tasterknopf. An dem erfindungsgemäßen System von Tastern mit und ohne Eigenbeleuchtung läßt sich an ein und demselben Gerät ohne Vornahme einer Änderung und ohne Vorhandensein ,überflüssiger Teile je nach Bedarf ein unbeleuchteter oder ein beleuchteter Tasterknopf einsetzen und wieder herausnehmen.
