Ein bekanntes Sicherheitsschloß für diese im allgemeinen nicht ohne weiteres verschließbaren Türhälften, in denen auch häufig wegen der geringen Plattenstärke keine besonderen Sicherheitsschlösser angebracht werden können, besteht nun darin, daß ein mit Erhebungen, Rasten od. dgl. versehener Haken mit der senkrecht zur Verschieberichtung liegenden, freien Kante der hinteren Türhälfte, d. h. also mit der überdeckten Kante, in Eingriff gebracht und ihr gegenüber verklemmt wird, wobei dieser Haken parallel zur Verschieberichtung angeordnet wird und mit seinem mit Erhebungen oder Rasten versehenen freien Ende aus der Überdeckung herausragt. Man kann dann bei dieser bekannten Ausführung ein mit einer dem Querschnitt des gerasteten Teiles des Hakens entsprechenden Ausnehmung versehenes Schloß über dieses freie Hakenende schieben und es gegenüber diesem verriegeln. Der Haken kann auch federnd ausgebildet sein, so daß er an der überdeckten Kante der hinteren Türhälfte haftet, während das Schloß beim Überschieben über den Haken lediglich zur Anlage an die freie Kante der vorderen Türhälfte gebracht wird und beim öffnen des Schlosses vom Haken völlig entfernt und zur Seite gelegt werden muß.
