Description
Die bisher verwendeten elektronischen Schalter bestehen entweder aus Hochvakuumröhren oder aus gasgefüllten Entladungsstrecken. Die gasgefüllte Entladungsstrecke hat gegenüber der Hochvakuumröhre den Vorteil eines wesentlich niedrigeren Innenwider-Standes. Trotzdem liegt der innere Widerstand gasgefüllter Entladungsstrecken in der Größenordnung von einigen hundert Ohm. Ein elektronischer Schalter, welcher einen wesentlich kleineren Widerstand besitzt, war bisher nicht bekannt.
