Abstract

A junction sleeve for at least one cable, has a housing for receiving the connecting parts of adjacent cable sections (11) in at least one part of the cable, with at least each end face of the housing assigned entrances (21) for an end zone or part of an end zone of a respective cable section and with sealing devices assigned to each entrance for water-tight closure between the respective entrance (21) and the part carried through the respective entrance of the relevant cable section.
