Abstract
The device has a small opening (3) in the covering of a hollow body and a porous material (4) is placed within it. A foil covers the opening and is vacuum sealed to the casing. The porous material has a strength from 0.05 mm to 2 mm, preferably 0.2 to 0.5 mm and can be made from, glass fiber, plastic fibers, open-porous foam or pressed powder. An independent claim is included for a method for the determination of the gas pressure.
