Abstract
A method for the production of polymers in which reaction parameters are adjusted not only in accordance with physical parameters determined with an alternating electromagnetic field but also with other physical parameters determined by subjecting the mixture to a pressure wave field and/or a direct electric current field. A method for the production of polymers by reacting a polymer mixture, melt and/or solution in a reactor system (5, 8-10, 13-15) in which at least one physical parameter is determined with an alternating electromagnetic field and at least one reaction parameter is adjusted in accordance with the detected field. In this method, other physical parameters are determined by subjecting the mixture, melt or solution to a pressure wave field and/or a direct electric current field and other reaction parameters are adjusted accordingly. Independent claims are also included for (1) a control system (19) in a unit (1) for the production of a polymer (2) in a reactor system as above, which is connected to data-transferring, alternating electromagnetic probe(s) (111) and also to a pressure wave probe (105) and/or a direct current probe (109), the output data from which are used to control the reactor system (2) a polymer production unit (1) comprising a reactor system and a control system (19) as above.
