Abstract
One or more premixture flames in combustion chamber of gas turbine have their combustion stabilized by bringing plasma into interaction with flame, especially by feeding plasma so into combustion chamber that it can interact simultaneously with several premixing flames. Preferably plasma is of thermal type, in which local thermodynamic equilibrium is attained, at least approximately. Plasma may be light arc, or inductively generated. Independent claims are included for appliance for carrying out invented frame stabilizing method.
