Abstract

Projector contains light source (1), behind which is fitted light modulator (4) for preset picture data modulation under control unit (5). This generates multicolor picture of several part-pictures. For each part-picture is provided color channel with finite spectral bandwidth. Behind light modulator is located projection optic (6). Control unit contains energizing unit (12) and correction unit (13). Images are projected onto surface (9). Operation of equipment is specified for distortion correction. Independent claims are included for picture taking unit, projection and picture taking method.
