Abstract
A modular multilevel power converter arrangement, has several power cells (2,4,6) which each have an input side rectifier (12,14,16) a smoothing capacitor (18,20,22) an output side inverter (24,26,28) in which the phase output (S) of one of each of the inverters (24-28) forms a load terminal, where these inverter on the output side are connected together. The inverters (24,26,28) are designed as three-phase and the output side circuit configuration (30) of these inverters (24-28) is a delta circuit.
