Abstract

A process for producing a water soluble molding core (4) from a water soluble material (6) comprises filling the material into a mould tool (2) which has the shape of the core to be formed, and then hardening the material in the mould. A process for producing a water soluble molding core (4) from a water soluble material (6) comprises filling the material into a mould tool (2) which has the shape of the core to be formed, and then hardening the material in the mould. Hardening takes place inside a semi-permeable membrane (8), which surrounds the water soluble material, seals it, and defines the outer contour after it has hardened. A fibre material (12) and matrix material resin is applied to the core and the membrane, and the resin is then hardened. After the core is removed from the mould, the semi-permeable membrane remains in the fibre composite. A filling opening is located in the membrane.
