Abstract
The actuating system (1) for a multi-plate clutch (2) in the transmission of a road vehicle has an annular piston (23) and cylinder (12). A working chamber (22) is pressurized by a small piston (15) on a spindle (13) moving longitudinally in a guide (14). It is moved forward by nut (10) driven by an electric motor (3,7) via a shaft (6) and reduction gears (8,9).
