Abstract
A door has a concealed magnetic door stop located in a cylindrical socket (1) with one or more half-moon sheet metal inserts (3) screw-fixed to the door outer margin. The housing holds a magnetic housing (2) with a spring-operated magnet (4). As the door passes the plate (10) in the floor or threshold, the magnet is lowered and makes frictional contact.
