Die erste Spur (150) der Maßverkörperung (130) weist N Teilungsmarkierungen, die zweite Spur (160) N-1 Teilungsmarkierungen und die dritte Spur (140) N-K Teilungsmarkierungen auf, wobei K > 1 ist. Mit Hilfe der bei Abtastung der ersten (150) und dritten (140) Spur erzeugten Abtastsignale erfolgt eine Unterteilung der Maßverkörperung (30, 130) in K-identische Segmente.The invention relates to a position measuring device (10) for determining angular or longitudinal positions.
