Abstract

A climate-control indoor convector unit has an air inlet (10) and an outlet (11). The interior space within the convector is packed with a bundle of numerous thin-walled pipes that transport a heating or cooling fluid. The bundle of pipes has an inlet connector fitting (12) and an outlet connector (13) fitting. The convector shaft inner face (1) is defined by sidewalls (2, 3, 4, 5). The pipes feeding the heat/cooling fluid have strengthening sleeves (15) with one or more surface-flattened zones (17, 18) in the convector sidewalls.
