Abstract

The method involves monitoring synchronization signals of base stations of adjacent radio cells at the fixed network side at a first base station of a first radio cell. A time difference of the synchronization signal of adjacent base stations to the synchronization signal of the first base station is determined for each adjacent base station. A synchronization degree is allocated to the first base station using the time difference. An interference situation of subscriber equipment in a first radio cell is determined using known location coordinates of the base station. Interference suppression measures are carried out depending on the subscriber-specific interference situation.
