Description
DEUTSCHESGERMAN
For simple telephone systems in which the participants share a common voice line with one another traffic, circuit arrangements are known in which for the purpose of confidentiality the Speech and hearing facilities of each call station only by actuating a relay to the common one Voice line can be switched. These relays are sent by the calling subscriber to one of an auxiliary battery connected via series resistors fed ring line, and the series resistors are dimensioned taking into account the relay sensitivity so that as soon as the relays of two call stations are on the ring line are connected, the voltage of which has dropped so far that no further relay responds. This makes it impossible for another participant to join a conversation that has already been conducted. To give the other subscribers a voice connection when the secret line is occupied in the above-mentioned manner it has already been proposed to provide a second common voice line, to which every participant without. Actuation of the mentioned relays can be switched on at any time if necessary. In particular, the circuit was arranged in such a way that the same relays that the subscriber received when they were excited Switch the first, secret voice line, and when the power is off, the voice and hearing systems of each voice station connect to the second, open voice line, so that each participant first, i. H. without him took further switching measures, speak over the open voice line at any time, when the secret line is unoccupied but could also switch to this. A further improvement of these systems is now according to the invention achieved in that the call stations with known speech and listening devices for powerless Operation and equipped with a crank inductor as a ringing current generator. This results in the Possibility of immediate emergency operation via the open speech line in the event of a failure of all voltage sources to be carried out without the need for special interventions or switching measures.
Of course, it is important for the speaking participant to know whether they are on the first voice line - ie secretly - or via the second voice line - ■ not secretly - communicate with one another, since the Choice of the two lines is deprived of their arbitrariness. You can get an indication of this by looking at the absence of electricity makes each relay visible in a manner known per se by a signal (indicator or the like). With The indicators between a directly fed busbar and the one via a series resistor are advantageous to be fed ring line switched so that they represent in their entirety just this series resistor.
Es zeigt dieThe circuit example shown in the drawing serves to explain the invention in more detail. It shows the

Die Zugehörigkeit der Schaltelemente zu den einzelnen Stationen ist — wie üblich —· durch entsprechende Indizes an den Bezugszeichen kenntlich gemacht.(except for the connections of the call lines matching) switching of two stations 1 and 2 one off a total of four participants consisting of an imaginary telephone system. The call signals are used in every intercom generated in a known manner by actuating a call inductor. The affiliation of the switching elements to the individual stations is - as usual - · by corresponding indices on the reference numerals marked.
The cores α and b form the first common voice line for all stations (secret voice line), c is a through line that is supplied with power via the indicators S 1 , S 2 ... from a line labeled d, which is also continuous. The line d is directly connected to one pole of the auxiliary voltage source Hi ; wire e is used for return. Sp 1 , Sp 2 and H 1 , H 2 are the speech and hearing systems, W 1 , W 2 are the alarm clock and J 1 , J 2 are the call inductors of the two stations. i v i s are contacts that are mechanically closed when the call inductors are actuated. By setting the call selector switch A 1 or A 2 , the inductor current is fed to the various call lines T 1 to r 4. R 1 , R 2 are the relays.
They carry two windings M 1 and M [ or M 2 and M £. The winding M [ (Mo) is routed to the continuous line c via a further indicator S'i (S ' 2 ) , while the winding M 1 (M 2 ) is connected to the alarm call line W 1 (w 2 ) . m \, m \, nc [or m \, m \, m \ are contacts operated by relays R 1 and R 2, respectively. Uu 1 and Am 2 are the so-called hook switches that flip when the handset is removed; the capacitors K 1 , K 2 serve to return the call current to the respectively actuated inductor J 1 or J 2 .

A call from station 2 through station 1 takes place as follows, if two subscribers in the system are not already speaking: Station 1 sets its call selector switch to position 2 and activates the call inductor J 1 . The call current reaches the alarm clock W 2 via the line r 2 , from there via contact mi, capacitor K 2 , the return line e and the capacitor K 1 back to the call inductor J 1 of station 1. (The relay windings M 1 , M 2 are short-circuited for the inductor alternating current by the capacitors K 1 and K 2. ) By actuating the call inductor J 1 , the contact I 1 of the station 1 is closed mechanically at the same time. The relay winding M [is connected to the auxiliary voltage source Hi via the line c, the indicators S 1 , S 2 ..., the line d on the one hand and via the line e on the other hand, and the relay A 1 actuates the contacts m \, m \, m \. By switching m \ , the winding M [is connected to the voltage source Hi via Jm 1 for the time in which the call inductor / is no longer activated, since the hook switch Mt 1 was switched when it was lifted before the call. The self-holding circuit of relay R 1 of station 1 is thus closed. The contact m \ switches the speech and hearing system of station 1 to the secret voice line a, b. The station 1 is thus ready to speak over the secret voice line a, b. In addition, the folded contact m \ connects one pole of the auxiliary voltage source Hi via d, m \, J 1 , r 2 , w ä , alarm clock W 2 to the winding M 2 of the relay R 2 . Before subscriber 2 has picked up his handset, the circuit across Am 2 , e is closed, and winding M 2 is directly connected to the voltage source Hi. The relay R 2 of station 2 also responds and converts its contacts ml, m \, m \ . As a result, the winding M ' 2 of the relay R 2 is placed on the line c via the indicator S'%; however, the circuit is still open. But as soon as the subscriber 2 picks up his handset, Am 2 is switched , the winding M 2 of the relay R 2 switched off and instead the winding Mi via ml, hu 2 and the lines c and e connected to the auxiliary voltage source Hi . The relay R 2 of station 2 is thus (like the relay A 1 of station 1) on the continuous line c itself. By switching ml , the alarm clock W 2 of station 2 has been switched off, while contact ml the speech and has switched hearing systems of station 2 to the secret voice line a, b . Before the start of the call, all indicators S and S 'were de-energized because no subscriber was drawing power from the continuous line c. The indicators .S 1 , S 2 ... each of the subscribers now show that the secret telephone line a, b is busy, while the addressing of the indicators SJ and S ' 2 guarantees the two speaking subscribers that their relay has been addressed has, so they actually speak over the secret telephone line. When the conversation is over, the self-holding circuits of the two relays R 1 and R 2 are interrupted again by flipping the hook switches Am 1 and Am 2 , and the original switching status shown in the drawing is restored at both stations.
If the station 1 calls the station 2 when the indicators S 1 , S 2 ... have already responded, the secret voice line a, b is already occupied by two other subscribers, the inductor call stream arrives over the line in the manner described r 2 to the alarm clock PF 2 of station 2, but no further switching processes take place; because in station 1 the winding M [of the relay R 1 is connected to voltage via the line c during the actuation of the call inductor by closing the contact i x; however, the voltage is not sufficient to make the relay respond. Since the contacts m \, m \, m \ do not move, station 1 does not reach the secret voice line a, b and neither does station 2. Subscriber 2, who hears the call, picks up and speaks to subscriber 1 Via the telephone pair a, e, to which the speech and hearing facilities of all stations are connected in the de-energized state of their relays via the contacts m \, m \ ... and the lines f v f 2 etc.
